Rocker Sells House Because of James Blunt

Anyone who's ever seen 'The Amityville Horror' can probably understand the chill that went down Noel Gallagher's spine when he discovered that what he thought would be a warm and welcoming homestead was, in fact, haunted by a specter from the wrong side of the River Styx -- namely James Blunt. The Oasis majordomo, no stranger to conflict, chose not to do battle with the forces of evil when he found that his vacation home he'd in the Spanish resort area of Ibiza had been encroached upon by the 'You're Beautiful' crooner.

Britain's Sun newspaper quotes one of those ubiquitous "knowledgeable sources" as saying, "He's fed up of hearing James Blunt bang on about I biza like he owns the place. It's taken the charm out of it for him so he's put his villa up for sale." We're presuming prospective buyers will get the same sort of warning one gives when one tries to pawn off digs with an attic that's been invaded by rabid chipmunks -- or, at the very least, the long-lost Gilbert O'Sullivan.
