Before Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova took home the Oscar for Best Original Song, they stopped by the Interface to show us exactly why they've captivated audiences around the world.

Prior to starring in the critically-acclaimed indie film 'Once,' Irishman Hansard had already been creating music with Czech singer-pianist Irglova. While currently the frontman of the Frames, Hansard plans to continue focusing on the Swell Season, the band name under which he and Irglova are billed.

"I love being in a band, I love rocking out, I love going on tour with the boys -- I love everything about it," Hansard tells Spinner. "But I guess right now I'm just really enjoying the simplicity with what's happened with the film and what's happened with Marketa."
