Perhaps if she lifted herself out of herself and went and volunteered somewhere, like a hospital, she might be more entertained. I do commend her for turning her life around, but real people help each other...........

It may not be your style, but you can't say it's horrible, either.
Lol she's found comfort in Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movies). My best friend Lily and I say them in London last week.

This way they had all things according to need, not just one satisfying their wants above others. What stands out the most to me is that they had all things in common. There were no wealthy leaders and poor followers.
Acts 4:32-37...Again, I see the same thing, they are willing to sacrifice what they had so that other could be "equally" blessed. Also, in that day the apostles were true men of God, not trying to live the lavish lifestyle off what others sacrificed, but instead they distributed what they had evenly....so that there was no lack among them. This is so unlike the leaders of today.
Romans 12:13...again supplying the needs of the saints. Not using to satisfy their own greed.
Roman 15:26-27 Again, it is speaking of meeting the natural needs of people as well as the spiritual needs.
1 Cor. 9:6-19....It appears to me that he is saying that he has a right to be compensated for preaching the gospel, but that he has chosen to preach without charge. He states that he does not want to abuse his power in the gospel. In other words it is not for sale. Many today are full aware of the longing and the need that people have for salvation and for the Lord to fill the void and emptiness of their hearts, so they make the gospel and salvation something for sale, so that they may prosper. Unlike the true men of God who knew Christ and chose as Christ had stated to become servants.
1 Cor. 10:24 & 33...I can only say AMEN!!! Its too bad that there is so little of that going on. Whats so sad is that so many who say that they are about that....are persuading others to send their money to them so that they may distribute it, while taking their cute. Why not allow each man to give as the Lord leads him to. Everyone wants to be a distributor. Just another excuse for trying to get their hand in the pot like Judas... God loves a cheerful giver so why are so many spending so much time trying to get others to give? They will bible whip you into giving, but yet ignore all other sins of the flesh.
2 Cor 8:12-15...Again, showing all things being equal, no one lacking. Unlike todays ministries. Some have Jets, while others have to catch the bus or walk. Those with the jets having their fuel being paid by the lesser and those walking not even having enough money left over to purchase a good pair of walking shoes. Really sad!!!
2 Cor 12:14...Amen...how many can say that today. Most are a burden to those that follow them. Always needing more and bigger. More donations, bigger buildings, bigger vans etc.
Gal 2:10...Yes, how much of what we give truly goes to helping the poor. No, we get government funding for that and then get upset when the government wants to see the records showing how the money is being used. No, the monies we give go towards bigger buildings, fancy cars, fancy homes, fancy salaries etc. while the poor sit in the same situation year after year. I can't tell you the number of times that I have heard stories where single mothers even have gone to a church pastor for financial help and was rejected because she was told that the money was only for those who tithe. Hello!!! Poor people don't always have anything to tithe off of.
Gal 5:13-14...a blessed scripture. Love is an action word....if you love you can't hurt or ignore the need of another. Love is sacrifice...Ask Jesus.
Gal 6:2, 10...Amen...This is all so simple...man has made everything so complicated with all the rules and regulations of what to do, how much to do and when to do it and for whom to do it for, but Jesus said, "when you've done it to the least of these, you done it to me." So, many have totally ignored Jesus all in the name of their religious rules and regulations and their church bylaws.
Eph 4:28 It would seem that all would want to contribute to body. So, whatever the Lord has gifted you with can be a blessing to the overall body. While we are all call to share, that does not give an excuse for any on the receiving end to just take handouts.
Phil 2:4 Its pretty self-explanatory
1 Thes 4:11 & 12 Again, I say Amen....no one should sit expecting others to take care of them, and if each member of the body does their part, then their should be more than enough for all.
1 Tim 6:17-19...Yes, once again I believe it is calling us to a place of true love, not of the things of this world but, love for one another. Love is the only thing that will last, all else will fade away.
Tit 2:14...We like Christ should be willing to lay down our lives for the sake of others. But mostly concerning ourselves with what will please the Father.
Tit 3:14...We are all called to do our part.
1 John 3:16-18...Amen...sad to say
You people are pathetic! You don't care who she is or what she has to say. Yet you took the time to read the article. Unbelievable!
