"I'm not really into female vocalists ... I don't think I would ever listen to our band, honestly." --Hayley Williams
The fiery frontgirl may love singing in her Grammy-nominated band, but, as she disclosed to Rolling Stone, that doesn't mean she actually likes Paramore's songs. Duh.

paramore is the only band with a female frontwoman i can stand....which sounds weird coming from a girl....i can understand what hayley's saying.
they're just amazing live as on either of their albums. they deserve all of their sucess...even though many of their current 'fans' are ones i'd like to call posers.

Yeah, they're more influenced by Jimmy Eat World and Sunny Day Real Estate. I've never actually known Hayley doesn't like female vocalists, but I agree with her to some extent, even though I've listened to and loved Paramore since 2005. Most female vocalists aren't worth listening to, unless it's a male/female thing like The Hush Sound. I agree with the person below me, because they do deserve everything they get fame-wise, and they have so much energy performing live. It's incredible. I don't think she HATES their songs, I think she just likes writing and performing music, but she likes listening to other things. It is pretty simple and I do the same thing. I listen to all different kinds of music, including mainly metal and screamo, yet my music is acoustic, so it doesn't always affect people the same way. If that made any sense =] That was kinda confusing the way I worded it. Sorry.. haha

After reading that, I realized that she is right... The only good bands w/ female vocals are Paramore, Nightwish, Flyleaf, and Within Temptation.

paramore is one of the only bands i listen to with a girl vocalist :D

Paramore is shit. Flyleaf is shit. If you want some good female vocalists try The Cranberries, Ani Difranco, Fiona Apple, Bjork, Rilo Kiley, Cat Power, Camera Obscura, and Tegan and Sara.

I don't know how anyone can completely dislike female vocalists. You haven't heard real female-driven music if you do.
I'm really not a fan of Paramore; I don't find them to be very talented, in my opinion.

i love paramore.

Someone should get this girl some "Hole" albums.
We need more female rock stars with some rage in them.
