Rapper's Music Used to Torture War Detainees

We've always had a sneaking suspicion that George W. Bush's idea of family values differs slightly from our own -- a notion that seems to be backed up by his administration's tacit approval of domestic abuse and Satanism, both of which are playing prominent roles in our military's attempts to wrangle information out of Iraq War detainees. Mother Jones magazine obtained the uniformed services' picks to click in terms of sonic waterboarding, a list topped by '[Copulate With] Your God,' by self-proclaimed Antichrist Glen Benton's quaint Floridian combo Deicide. The God-bashing ditty -- probably not a big fave among Bush's evangelical fellow travelers -- nosed out Eminem's 'Kim,' which, as fans of compassionate conservatism no doubt recall, builds to the heart-warming climax "bleed, bitch, bleed." We're not certain exactly how great a sense of irony exists among folks blasting the tunes at so-called enemy combatants, but given the fact that they've been giving a lot of spins to Rage Against the Machine's 'Bulls on Parade,' the officer in charge of the operation strikes us as a logical successor to David Cross.
