Apple (Records) Denies Deal With Apple (Computer) for Beatles Catalog

British newspaper the Telegraph has reported that after years of the Beatles' music catalog being one of the last major collections not available on iTunes, Paul McCartney has reached an agreement with Apple (Computer) to carry the Fab Four's Apple (Records) output.

Trouble is, the Beatles' longtime label denies such a deal is done. And While Sir Paul has stated in the recent past that an Apple-Apple contract is all but inevitable, the idea that there is no agreement does seem the more likely scenario. After all, would it really make sense for McCartney to ink such a lucrative contract, clearly worth multimillions, while he is in hotly contested divorce settlement talks with Heather Mills?
