The Long Blondes 'Couple' With Erol Alkan

Sheffield, England's glamor-punk quintet the Long Blondes will once again invade our shores with their nu-wave bubblegum pop. Frontwomen Kate Jackson might as well have grown up on New York's Lower East Side in the late '70s, with her young Deborah Harry vibe coupled with some homeland Buzzcocks-worthy pop-punk.

The band is set to unveil its sophomore album on May 6, titled 'Couples,' and this time 'round, the troupe teamed with DJ aficionado Erol Alkan for some dance floor-ready production. Keep reading to preview the album, with help from an artsy video and MP3.
