On This Date in 1993: 'Informer,' by Canadian dancehall reggae singer Snow, takes over the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.The Almanac Advises for March 13: "While a snowman is a fun diversion, its moment in the sun is a temporary one, so don't get too attached to your cute little white friend. Be prepared for your snowman to disappear forever once the season is over."
