Well... look i didn't know Kurt personally, but my guess is that if he was still alive, he'd probably STILL have a pretty significant drug problem and at this point would probably be on his 100th "best of" album and would take cash from wherever he could get it... including from one of his favorite shoe companies. In my opinion a well designed tribute shoe for a long time fan.

I'm not going to say how I think Kurt Cobain died. What I will say is this: I remember vividly that the 1990's Grunge style was exactly what Kurt DIDN'T want. He NEVER wanted people imitating him and more importantly profitting off of it. This has nothing to do with honoring Kurt Cobain, it's all about Courtney Love's greediness and starving ego. $50 million just isn't enough, is it Courtney?

seriously, people...if courtney was that bad he would have ditched her himself. and by the way, hole's best music was before she got involved with him. not to mention she was not the only one in the band! eric erlanderson (spelling?, kirsten phaff (spelling?) and melissa auf du maur all contributed, probably more than she did. AND she is the one who got her life together, quit drugs and is a great parent to francis bean. i do feel bad for kurt in that his depression was so bad, but when you kill yourself (or want to) it is often not about how bad your life is. look at him! he had everything rock musicians dream about (except the drug problem). courtney did NOT cause his death- it takes two people to mess up a relationship. leave her alone about this. i'm sure she has had a hard enough time reconciling her past. stop beating a dead horse.
