The Raconteurs Speed New CD Release + More
- Indie rock supergroup the Raconteurs will release the follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut album, 'Broken Boy Soldiers,' in just one week. 'Consolers of the Lonely' boasts 14 new tracks and will be available in every format (from vinyl to digital) everywhere (from your local indie record store to Walmart) on March 25.
- Amy Winehouse has been offered $1 million to perform at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute in New York on May 5. Host of the event, Giorgio Armani, along with actors George Clooney and Julia Roberts are all wooing the soul siren, and she is said to be "seriously considering" the offer.
- Neil Young will headline A Hop Day at the Farm -- a one-day festival in southeast England on July 6.
