    The DL: The ABBA Curse

The DL's favorite drummer, Ola Brunkert , died this past weekend. "Who is Ola Brunkert?" you ask. Hey, if you have ever had your huevos rattled by the rhythm section on ABBA's 'Fernando,' then you can thank the drum stylings of the Brunkanator. "No big loss," you say. Well, you cold-hearted bastards, perhaps there's more to ABBA than just gilded locks and dancing queens. Thankfully, the investigative team of The Steaming Truth has brought you this expose on ABBA's sordid history. Let's just say 'Mama Mia' isn't the only blood on their hands.

I sure hope the curse does not extend to those who may have inadvertantly hummed along while riding in an elevator between the 5th and 6th floor.

on the contrary, it is not the anti-christ who is responsible for ABBA - the complete opposite in fact. their music is pure heaven. RIP, dear Ola.

THE DL IS GREAT! SOME PRETTY FUNNY STUFF AS OF LATE! REMEMBER ABBA STARTED OUT JUST 4 SWEDISH MATES PLAYING A GIG HERE AND THERE THEN THEY EXPLODED. EITHER TAKE THEM OR LEAVE THEM. THEY HAVE BROKEN UP FOR GOOD NOW! PRAY FOR OLA.

Love the DL. Funny stuff as of late. Remember ABBA started out with 4 Swedish mates playing a gig here and there then they exploded all over the world. They have broken up and will never be the same. Either love them or hate them we should pray for Ola. :(

Too funny. I thought there was something suspicious about Agnetha's perfect bottom when they toured Australia in the 1970's.
The fought their possession with some great sounding music! :)

"Undern Jiksten [or whatever] 1974" is actually ABBA manager and sometime lyricist Stig Anderson, who died of a heart attack in 1997.
