Old Singer: Brett Scallions
New Singer: Toryn Green

Facelessness isn't always a good quality for a band, but it's a boon when said combo needs to replace its lead singer – as these workmanlike rockers did upon Brett Scallons' departure in 2006. They struck out when trying to persuade Clay Aiken – or Chris Daughtry (same difference) – to step in but found an Alaskan Battle of the Bands winner willing to assume the Scallions mantle a year later.

These lists are such a damn JOKE! Two of the BIGGEST misses were AC DC and Deep Purple, most people don't know that Ian Gillian was NOT the first OR second lead singer for Deep Purple, David Cloverdale was the second and I believe Dave Evans was the first singer. In face Deep Purple, Rainbow, Black Sabbath and Whitesnake have all shared various members over the year. Supertramp went on after their lead singer Hogdins left. Survivor fired their lead singer after the HUGE hit "Eye of the Tiger" and went on to bigger success. Sammy AND Dave have both fronted VH since Cherone was fired. There is Jefferson Starship moving on without Grace Slick. BAD COMPANY went on after Rodgers joined Page and The Firm then rejoined.

Some of the bands on this list I've never heard of.

Seriously - Genesis have sold over 150 million records worldwide and the Gabriel/Collins story is legend in the world of rock. Epic Fail on your part.

I agree also that AC/DC was a huge miss.

No AC/DC? What about Maiden?? After they replaced Paul with Bruce, they became one of the biggest metal bands in the world! Or is this list supposed to be who sucked after replacing their singer? If so, I'll give you 24 hours to take Sabbath off of there.

Thanks for mentioning Bruce. Not only did he replace their original singer and turn the band into the greatest heavy metal band ever(in my humble opinion), but he later left the band, was replaced, and then returned to to put them back on top. I just watched a recent Iron Maiden concert on VH1 and was amazed at the fact that they still sell out stadiums and continue to make amazing albums.
I plan on seeing them this summer and I plan on bringing my nephew to show him what a great concert is like because I doubt any of todays crap bands will still be filling arenas in 30 years as Maiden has done.
