No Singer? No Problem! Fuel

Fuel

Old Singer: Brett Scallions
New Singer: Toryn Green

Facelessness isn't always a good quality for a band, but it's a boon when said combo needs to replace its lead singer – as these workmanlike rockers did upon Brett Scallons' departure in 2006. They struck out when trying to persuade Clay Aiken – or Chris Daughtry (same difference) – to step in but found an Alaskan Battle of the Bands winner willing to assume the Scallions mantle a year later.

GENESIS???

I can't believe they were left out! (sorry if they've been mentioned in few hundred other posts--I admit I didn't take time to hunt through them all.

Peter Gabriel-->Phil Collins

--& then the band went on to become one of the biggest acts in the world

How on EARTH can you forget Foreigner? What's wrong with you people??? Lou Gramm was replaced with Johnny Edwards in 1991 and then Lou Gramm was brought back in 1995. Most recently, Lou Gramm has been replaced with Kelly Hansen.

What about Styx trying to go on without the great Dennis DeYoung? They suck without his powerful voice.

No AC/DC? What about Maiden?? After they replaced Paul with Bruce, they became one of the biggest metal bands in the world! Or is this list supposed to be who sucked after replacing their singer? If so, I'll give you 24 hours to take Sabbath off of there.
