Old Singer: Shane McGowanNew Singers: Joe Strummer, et al.
'Streams of Whiskey' is one of the most enduring Pogues songs... and those streams carried singer McGowan away from the group in 1991. The toothless wonder was briefly replaced by the equally dentally challenged Strummer before the band decided to close ranks and handle vocals by committee. McGowan has subsequently rejoined the fold for sporadic tours on which he appears onstage even more sporadically.

Whether Shaine is singin' or poor ol'Joe, as I've seen once, they don't disappoint. Then again, I'm an Irishman of Donegal origin and the wifee is a Protestant of the Ulster area, nobody's perfect. We have always had a blast seeing them. Looking forward to it again...
