There was never any doubt Diana was the biggest star in the trio, but her sisters in song often wondered if she was meant to be the only shiny object in orbit. Well, once Miss Ross bolted, the ladies – augmented by some new recruits – got the answer. Despite mining the classic Motown formula in catchy ditties like 'Nathan Jones,' they'd never smell the heady air of No. 1 again.
