Nine Inch Nails continue to be trend-setters in the ever changing world of technology by finishing recording and mastering a new single, 'Discipline,' on Monday and turning it out to radio programmers within 24 hours. Released exclusively to radio Tuesday afternoon -- just a day after it was mastered by Alan Moulder -- the song defies the instrumental approach of NIN's recent album, 'Ghosts I – IV,' by including the lyrical and vocal stylings of Trent Reznor.Radio outlets were provided with an online link to an exclusive download of the song, while fans can now get 'Discipline' straight from the band's website.
Nine Inch Nails will launch a summer tour at British Columbia's Pemberton Festival on July 25, which is slated to wrap up on September 6 at the Forum in Inglewood, California. The band has also been confirmed for Lollapalooza, although the date, stage and performance times have yet to be announced.
