    Adele Arrives on the Interface

London singer-songwriter Adele is poised to be the new face of soul.

The 19-year-old -- with a Brit award and a No. 1 single under her belt -- brought her transcendental tunes to the Interface, performing four bare-bones tracks from her forthcoming U.S. release of '19.'

"I like to think of myself as a soul singer, hugely influenced to Roberta Flack, Lauren Hill and Etta James," she tells Spinner.

I have had her album since the summer time and I can't stop listening to it. The whole album is great and I love every song. One day I was in Barnes and Noble buying a book and I fell in love with the music playing so I went up to an attendant and ask who was singing and they showed me her album, I bought it on the spot. I recommend it to all. Money well spent. :)

I first saw Adele on Saturday Night Live back in Oct or Nov......what a stellar performer. I immediately Googled her and purchased her album, 19. And out of a 10, it's definitely a 19!!! Love her music, her voice, love it all!

I was at home sick and saw the music video for chasing payments before the CD came out and became a Fan. I pre-ordered the CD before it was released. I think that she is GREAT. I have lent the CD to a few of my friends that also love it. This is music that make you smile no matter how much _ _ _ _ is happening.

My ears are bleeding. Another Amy Winehouse wannabe. Also, the Grammys have no credibilty. Elvis won only two and "Don't worry, be happy" won song of the year. Nuff said.

She was in Portland last month. I was lucky enough to score tickets to her sold out show. You should hear her voice live...wow is all, I can say. If you get a chance to see her in person don't miss it.

How come I have never heard of her??? I've never heard her on the radio. I seen her on the Grammys the other night...she was no big deal to me...and I don't think she deserved a Grammy. SO many people on there..that was awful and who wants to hear Allison K. and Robert Plant? It was terrible! Ohhh can't forget about Paul MaCartney..lol with his new hair and dye job..gawd!! Neil Diamond too! Both were awful..the show must of been short on singers is all i can say. Have a good day!
