- Bob Dylan, Iggy and the Stooges, Kanye West and Wilco are among the performers slated to appear at Baltimore's Virgin Mobile Festival, which will be held August 9 and 10.
- Joan Jett will kick off a spring and summer tour, beginning May 2 at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis. The jaunt will include headlining dates on Cyndi Lauper's second annual 'True Colors' tour.
- Yo La Tengo will score 'Adventureland,' the forthcoming Greg Mottola film, starring Ryan Reynolds.
