On This Date in 1973: Pink Floyd's 'The Dark Side of the Moon' becomes the No. 1 song on the Bilboard albums chart. It remains in the Top 200 until April 23, 1988 -- almost 15 years.

The Almanac Advises for April 28: "Even the most beloved of guests can overstay their welcome."

Pink Floyd thrilled me since the beggining in 1975 or earlier...kinda foggy back then....till this day. Tears flow down my cheeks anytime I hear them. As far as I'm concerened..a world without Pink Floyd is not world at all... Rock on my loves!
