Rock Almanac: April 28, 2008

On This Date in 1973: Pink Floyd's 'The Dark Side of the Moon' becomes the No. 1 song on the Bilboard albums chart. It remains in the Top 200 until April 23, 1988 -- almost 15 years.

The Almanac Advises for April 28: "Even the most beloved of guests can overstay their welcome."
