Ah, the sentimental side of Andre 3000: "I know you like to thank your s--- don't stank." In following up 'Ms. Jackson,' 'The Way You Move' and 'Hey Ya!' with this, the Atlanta duo went from No. 1 to, yes, Number Two. Why the hell is Outkast even on this list? This is about bands, not about some guys who just talk over an artificial beat which loops over and over and over etc. Rappers shouldn't even be classified as having any musical inclination as far as i'm concerned...

excuse me. i go to an arts school and i have many friends that are aspiring rappers with loads of musical talent. one young man is in my band class and he can play a guitar solo that will make u cry. not all rappers use artificial beats. many sit at pianos or other instruments before hand. so before u make biased comments like that, i think that u need to get ur facts straight. thank you and god bless.

woah wait a minute. i've been avoiding comment so far reading this list...but...i just have to say...about RAPPERS having NO MUSICAL INCLINATION...: most rappers today--in my own opinion--and i state that this is my own opinion and no ones is being put down so that any comments put up in reply to this will have pretty much little validity--Most rappers today do suck. There is no poetic talent. The hooks and verse sounds might be catchy, but usually, to me, in rhythm only. The beats--yes--there are knobs and buttons but there are also keyboards used. Besides, the process of GREAT beat making is really, really complex (all one has to do is look at Dre in his studio or someone like him). but most importantly-- OUTKAST ARE LYRICAL GENIUSES...and style, content, everything...they are unreal--they might not be a band, but they sure as hell have musical talent and a lot of it. Oh...but I hate this song. Just saying.

You're mis-spewing, allmyteawon...while "Roses" does feature a rap section, it's a song, with verses, melodies, instruments, and everything. Aim your tired prejudice where it belongs...at everyone who makes uninspired, limp music.
But is "Roses" bad? I don't think so...it's only meant to be silly, and it succeeds on that level. The truly bad songs are the bloated, pretentious, grating ones, right?

Roses"? roses is a good song, WFT are u talking about. Who ever made this list needs a dose of flavor b4 he or she get a caucasion overload. Outkast rarely made a bad song and if they did Roses would not be it. For one Roses speaks the truth, that alot of these young kids need to hear. Specially these young girls. When i bought the CD, i like that song even b4 it came out on thr radio. Roses is an awsome song, get it right.

I feel like this was a big waste of my time. Some of these songs fit; others REALLY don't.
Especially Outkast's song. Their reasoning for it is that it made them drop to number 2 ?! Are you SERIOUS?
The song is NOT bad. Apparently whoever made this countdown thinks any song below number one is crap.
Worst part is I feel used and targeted by advertisements that I'll never pay attention to, while wasting my time reading this bullshit countdown.

I personally like that Outkast writes messed up lyrics. If you are going after Roses then you really just don't get them at all, because all of their lyrics are messed up in a similar way. It is just fun music.
If you really are serious about this, I would think Alanis Morissette's "Isn't it Ironic" would be some of the worst writing ever. The only real irony in the song is that all of her examples aren't "ironic" at all.
