Bad Songs by Good Bands: No. 10
- Posted by Spinner
Ah, the sentimental side of Andre 3000: "I know you like to thank your s--- don't stank." In following up 'Ms. Jackson,' 'The Way You Move' and 'Hey Ya!' with this, the Atlanta duo went from No. 1 to, yes, Number Two. The video's Sharks vs. Jets faceoff may have been nicked from 'West Side Story,' but it takes some real originality to come up with this kind of verbal diarrhea.- Filed under: Songs, The Hit List

They have a lot worse songs. They got plenty. Much like GnR this list doesn't make me think... They wrote a bad song? No sh*t.

May 07 2009 at 7:26 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI just wanted to add... for those of you who did not know. Outkast always toured with a great bands like Organized Noize and Wild Peach. Not all rap is over sampled beats. If you knew anything about music you would learn about all genres before putting your foot in your mouth.
January 17 2009 at 3:05 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyRap is not always about a beat, artificial or not. Listen to TRUE lyricists like Styles P, Lupe Fiasco, Jay Z, Tupac, Nas, Common, Talib Kwali, or Kanye West and the appreciation for rap as a whole and the abilty to recognize a good rap "song" from another will follow.

Who ever made this list needs their head examined. A few of these could maybe be considered as "mediocre" songs. The rest however, are absolutely great. What do you listen to, list-maker, Miley Cyrus?? The Jonas Brothers???
You make me sick...
Die, List-Maker, DIE....
