im with u while this may not be one of Aerosmithhs top 5 or 10 but that is a tough list 2 crack considering how many great songs they have-this is still an incedible song

I agree, one of the greatest rock ballads ever and I've been around for quite a few of them. Steve Perry of Journey could do a good ballad but Tyler's voice is grittier and he has better range. Tyler's a real screamer and you need that for a great rock ballad. Loved it in the movie, especially while watching his hot daughter roll around in the grass. Sorry, just had to throw that in.

I've been and Aerosmith junkie since the age of 12 when my older sister brought home their first album
( Aerosmith ). This song IS a great song IF you aren't strictly a head banger ( which is something I don't personally understand ). They have had hit after hit and this one was a hit as well. Just a little soft as in love ballad. Nothing wrong with that. No one would know it if it weren't a hit.
Also, I knew of Steven Tyler BEFORE then, again courtesy of my sister, when he was a drummer in a band called Chain Reaction in the late sixties only he used the last name Tallarico. Just a bit of trivia for those who may not know.
