Bad Songs by Good Bands: No. 2

'Radio Ga Ga'
--Queen (1984)

Originally conceived by Queen drummer Roger Taylor as 'Radio Ca-Ca,' which would have been more fitting: Even a child can recognize this baby-talking lament for the golden age of radio as the steaming pile of doo-doo it is. More proof that you truly can't polish a turd.

This list is a no-no. First, here you didn't slam a good song from a good band, you worte something ridiculous about a great song from one of the greatest bands that ever existed, as if you couldn't remember even more tragic songs from the likes of the Beatles, like "Ob-la-di Ob-la-da, life goes on, bra" (whatever the bra he was talking about), which has an even more ridiculous name and doesn't have the capacity of making 75.000 plus people at Wembley Stadium participate claping their hands to the air like we can see on videos available to this date. Have you no musical culture? Or are you afraid to dig deeper on the critical darlings to see the abyssal songs we can get from The Beatles (and the four guys alone, but I recognize they're few, many others are just a little bad), Oasis, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, all frigging punk bands, since calling yourself or being called punk is a certificate for bad music (with rare exceptions, some of which are not the Sex Pistols and the Clash), Britney, Rihanna (what else is umbrella ella ella eh eh eh, like she's choked on something - but Britney and Rihanna are not good artists anyway), and etc, a lot of etc., mostly from artists that are on the radio today or are almost unanimity on mainstream vehicles that criticize music. Well, I don't know who is sillier, you, who seem not to have anything better to create than silly lists, or some people like me, who still react to music criticism as if it was an activity that really mattered, not a heap of guesswork and half-baked opinions from people who don't listen to music, but seem only to read what other silly people before them wrote. But, anyway, whoever wrote Radio Ga Ga is a turd should undergo brain surgery, not forgetting to tell the doctor to buy a ton of toilet paper to get rid of what he finds there.

I could not agree more. How dare these less than zero critics even compare "Radio Ga ga" as a bad song next to Madge's (whoremonkey) ill conceived, "American Life"??? How dare they???!!!!

Okay, breathe. If you don't like music critics, don't read the reviews. And compared to other Queen songs, yeah it does suck... but the writer is wrong on one point. You can polish a turd.

is this some kind of sick joke? radio ga-ga is an excellent song and if Queen is gonna make the list for a bad song you could at least pick an actual bad queen song which they are a couple of. Queen belongs nowhere near this ridiculous countdown, for that matter nether does a classic masterpiece like november rain.

omg, put down some rap songs. What about P.Diddy won't you be my girlfriend part II. B2K BUmp Bump or something like the whisper song. Sean Paul make it clap. Yeah you write bands but i saw Madonna so i assume you would be able to add these guys. What the hell, this countdown is an outrage, it's so easy to find a bad song and you choose good songs. I could do your job so much better than you, November rain proves it.
