ok honestly this is the worst list i've ever seen, and i used to watch VH1. Whos opinion was this? There are some good songs on here that dont suck at all!Hnestly the person who made this list shouldn't be allowed to rank anything...... ever.....

One of the most ridiculous things I've heard in a long time. Great tune, fantastic lyrics and the video was pretty cheeky. Maybe not "Bastards of Young", but brilliant all the same.

who made this list???
morons

I'll take this so called bad song over most bands good songs any day.

This has just gotten ridiculous. How many great songs are on this list!? Whoever put this together needs to be fired immediately!

I love this song- maybe not my favorite, but it was still a good song.
Also, if someone called me, "punky defiant" I'd go the other way too.

who is writng/selecting this garbage list-- ok, some are right on the money, like "rhaposody" and particularly "November Rain" (actually, that whole album is pretty lame..)but, "I'll Be You" is a great song-- just because it has production values that exceed most of their output--- exceeds from a technical sense--- the "slicker" production, in comparison to that era's fare, was far from slick" and doesn't always work for the 'Mats---- shite, "if-- it's a temporary lull-[-- why am i bored right outta my skull--- dressing sharp and feeling dull"--- axl couldn't write lyrics like that if he had 20 years to work on it (can't wait to hear "Chinese Democracy", a really dumb title-- it will probably come out when China actually becomes a democracy, read "NEVER"--- RD

This is a GOOD song...the maker of this list should look for work on Radio Disney; certainly has NO clue.
starkewesat 10-21-2008
The Mats stopped w/ the excesses and started making more "grown-up" sounding albums, such as "Tim," "Pleased To Meet Me," and Slim Dunlap's debut w/ them, "Don't Tell a Soul," ft. this memorable rocker. Who-ever made this list is a complete and utter music-moron. >(

Wow. Just throwing caution to the wind, and spouting out as much clueless, tasteless BS as possible? I figure the people at Spinner must be losing their jobs soon... because this list is offensive.
I can't imagine people who actually have taste THIS bad.
daniele1969at 10-29-2008
SCREW THESE PEOPLE WHO DECIDED THIS LIST!!!! THEY DO NOT KNOW GOOD MUSIC!! I'M OUTTA HERE!
Eddieat 10-29-2008
Yeah this is ridiculous, I agree with the poster who said "It's no 'Bastards of Young' but brilliant all the same..."
I'm not even going to finish this countdown.
Spinner: FAIL

How dare you rip on Paul and the Replacements. Of all the awful songs out there and you choose 'I'll be you'? They were one of the most original and influential bands out there, and you are clueless if you think he 'sold out' with this song. What the phuck does selling out mean anyway? One thing is for sure, and that is the Replacements never came anywhere even remotely close to selling out. Are his acoustic and melodic songs from his recent album another example? You need to get a new job, because you suck at this one.

I guess I should be happy that The Replacements are actually getting hailed as a "Good Band" but how dare they say that this song is a bad song. True the production of it is a lil dated. It hasn't aged as well as some of the other ammunition in the Replacements cannon. It sorta has this layered upon layered guitars. Which I think Paul Westerberg himself is not a fan of. Just listen to his amazing solo work and hear for yourself. It's just good stripped down freewheelin music from Westerberg doin what he does best. Writing great songs.
