Why does he feel the need to remind us of a fact people already know. Whoever said he was cool?
June 25 2008 at 8:05 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyHe has a wonderful voice.
I neither know nor care what his sexual preferances are.
As long as he's not hurting anyone, ain't nobody's business but his own.
Clay is gayer than gay... wake up! doesn't anyone have functioning gay-dar anymore since the metro-sexual hit the scene!?
June 05 2008 at 12:22 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI have to laugh out loud to hear that there is anyone out their that does not realize that Clay Aiken is GAY. Look in the dictionary under GAY and it will read>>>>> :see Clay Aiken". I have nothing against Gays, but he should be proud of what he is instead of being so coy about it. Clay has very little talent and is also a known animal abuser (heard thisstraight from his mouth in an interview). I cannot wait til the day he crawls back under his rock and we don't
have to see him again
Matt- I guess your Gay-dar is going off with Clay, huh?
I think there is nothing wrong with being gay , some of the best artists and performers are gay! Look at Elton John, He is over 60 and going strong and been in the business for years! And is an openly gay man! He wasn't truly happy until he to came out of the closet and stopped pretending that he was not gay himself. So Clay- gay or not- just be honest with yourself. That is when you will be truly happy!!!
Kaleen I agree with you completely. Clay doesn't go parading women around, he doesn't have music videos with hookers giving him lap dances, and he doesn't sing about getting laid. how does that add up to "omg I think he's gay"?? He's a straight guy with manners, which is pretty rare to find in the entertainment industry these days.
May 07 2008 at 12:17 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Replybeing called gay isn't a bad thing--unless it's false. For a straight guy to have a rumor spread about him being gay, I'd imagine, is very difficult.
Clay has handled these rumors the best way he knows how. The tabloids can make up any kind of crap they want. At least his friends and his fans know he's straight, that's all that matters.
and no, he's not cool. But he's a gentleman who is true to himself and is forever thankful to his fans. And that beats being cool. besides, I love dorks :)
meanwhile, have you HEARD his new CD?! I *love* it!! can't wait till he tours with it :)
P.S. no I'm not one of his crazy middle-aged fans. I'm 18 and I like JT too--Clay's just better!
you might not be able to control who you are attracted to or what sex, but you can control who you have sex with. "Good" Christian gays are still gay, they just choose not to act on the impulse to sleep with the same sex. I have the urge to kill my inlaws but I choose not to. It's all about choices, not urges.
May 07 2008 at 8:15 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyWhat difference does it make to all of you if Clay is gay or not? How does who he "sleeps" with when he goes home at night affect his singing? How would you like to be ridiculed or harrassed or told you were doing a lousy job at your job based soley on who you were sleeping with? The two have nothing to do with each other. If you like his singing, fine, and if you don't like his singing, fine. Leave his sexuality out of it. That is his personal life, just like who you are "doing" is yours. Grow up.
May 07 2008 at 3:40 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyKathy....You have got it! My concern for those in being deceived and are headed to hell is why I sent other posts. Yes, there are many Christians who are
hypocrits, living a sinful life. The true believer
makes no judgments, but gives God's Word so they can
see for themselves and to possibly ask God for forgiveness. All sin can be forgiven, but the desire to change their lives has to be relevant to God and His Word. Is it really worth the risk of going to hell? I pray for all of us that when we meet our
Maker face to face, He will say, "Well done, my good
and faithful servant."
