If I took exception to the antics, beliefs and excesses of every actor and actress I'd be stuck watching reality TV. Cruise makes entertaining movies and he isn't out there punching people in the face or driving around drunk or abusing kids. That's good enough for me.

I'd like to know what race, creed or lifestyle Tom Cruise and/or Katie Holmes is/are offending, just by having beliefs different from non-Scientologists.
They haven't harmed anyone. It doesn't seem like anyone cares except gossip magazines and people who read them.

People are so hatefull. I think Tom is a great guy, so is Kate, so what if you don't like his religion, not our business, think about it, would you like the whole world interfering in your personal life. Why can't we judge him based on his talent and the good he does for people. Don't forget he is a good family guy. If he wasn't Nicole wouldn't have been heart broken when they got a divorce, he must be good to his woman, they are all long term relatinships.
And to go as far as saying you won't spend a dime on seeing his films. Grow up people. I'll see his films, and rent them and buy them. Look at his friends, he has some awesome friends, that should tell you about his charachter.
I'm SICK AND TIRED OF PEOPLE PUTTING TOM DOWN.

I lost all respect for Tom Cruise when the Scientology video came out. Who the hell does he think he is by saying that a Scientologist is the only one that cares about people in need. What a load of crap! Any caring human being should be offended be his remarks, whether they were meant for anyone else to hear or not! I no longer will see any of his movies either. My money isn't going to support Scientology and its beliefs.

my bf had a crush on katie. now he feels terible that she has been captured into that scientology cult. just look at her hair: he loved it! said it was sexy, long and lush. (like mine :) ) now its chopped to resemble that "stepford" clone posh. yuk.
