Aerosmith Frontman Enters Rehab

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler checked himself into a Pasadena, California drug rehabilitation clinic. The 60 year old Tyler was admitted into Las Encinitas Hospital's treatment facility, according to TMZ.

The hospital should be familiar to viewers of VH1's recent 'Celebrity Rehab' series. Las Encinitas is home to the practice of that reality show's host Dr. Drew Pinsky.

In his four decades out in front of Aerosmith, Tyler is no stranger to drug treatment. He once revealed that he has had four trips to rehab. Now, with his fifth trip, Tyler has broken a twenty year run of sobriety.

In 2006, Tyler revealed that he had contracted Hepatitis C, a dangerous liver disease known to plague intravenous drug users, but had cleared it from his body.

its a shame what happened to steve tyler but we r all human and mess up..luv aerosmith for a very long time even got their wings tattooed on my lower back.keep ur chin up steve we will be here for u when u get out

well thank you TMZ for telling the whole freakin world something that has absolutley nothing to do with our lives...I love Steven Tyler and Aerosmith- was one of my first concerts/albums.....o and by the way what the freak did paris hilton do to get famous.????? You can pay ya know.......I'm tired of it. Lets follow her scanky ass around. and lindsey lohan..they want the attention, and most of you want to hear about it

I have been for many years and still remain a grat fan of Aerosmith and especially Steven Tyler. I have great faith that he will overcome this recent set back and he has overcome other serious obstacles in his life. I too agree with the comment from Jean in Canada that maybe he should have a girlfriend closer to his age. I'm 49 and available.

Hi;
I am a huge fan of Steven Tyler and am just heart broken over his relapse. My heart goes out to him and I am sending out plenty of positive thought to him. He has gone through so much in his life. After all he is a mortal and does have wants and desires just like anyone else. I heard he has become dependant on pain killers because of an injury he had. That is VERY easy to do. Hurray for him that he checked into rehab. But one thought. He might want to try and get a girlfriend more his age that would be better suited for him instead of that young woman Erin. I`m available and I`m 53.
