On This Date in 1990: Guns n' Roses frontman Axl Rose files for divorce from his bride of one month, Erin Everly, daughter of Don Everly of the Everly Brothers.

The Almanac Advises for May 24: "While roses are standard for a bridal bouquet and floral arrangements, they have a tendency to wilt quickly, especially under the heat."
