'Good Girls Don't' (No. 11, 1979)

Before it was immortalized in the '94 film 'Reality Bites' (not to mention on President Bush's iPod), 'My Sharona' landed this L.A. power-pop quartet at the top of the charts for almost two months in 1979. Not bad for a pervy song about statutory rape! Before dropping off the face of the Earth, the Knack scored one more hit with 'Good Girls Don't' -- a pervy song about adolescent sex.

u r right..they hit the Top 40 in 1980 w/ "Baby Talks Dirty" # 38 for 2 weeks....Love that song!!

This is a bit off. The Knack hit the top 40 one more time with "Baby Talks Dirty," THEN it was off to oblivion with them.
