Um, the chart that's being referenced for the "two-hit wonder" category is the Billboard Hot 100, and the writer is limiting the hits to those which actually qualified as "hits" (which normally means the top 40).
Taking the R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart into account, you're wrong. Young MC only had TWO Top 40 songs on that chart as well--"Bust a Move" (#9) and "That's the Way Love Goes" (#32, and no connection to Janet Jackson's later hit single).
I don't know where YOU'RE coming up with "I Let 'Em Know" as a "hit" single, but it was NOT a chart single. It may have picked up some airplay (on the radio station you listened to) but it never charted on any Billboard singles/tracks chart.
