Two-Hit Wonders: Young MC

'Bust a Move' (No. 7, 1989)
'Principal's Office' (No. 33, 1990)

This producer and rapper ruled junior-high dances the world over with his 1989 hip-hop smash, 'Bust a Move.' And although his next hit, 'Principal's Office,' was minor by comparison, Young MC had something to fall back on: When he wasn't busy writing exactly two hits, Young MC was busy cowriting exactly two hits with fellow two-hitter Tone Loc. Does that make him, like, a two-hit god?
