As a 59-year-old "brother" who has never received a welfare check and has no need or intention to, but has seen alot of trailer trash live off of them (while we're handing out epithets), I must say that for some of the commenters here, ignorant would be a step up.

A litte government goes a long way. Unfortunately they do not stay little and always grow and grow until they eventually overtake that which they were formed to protect. Similar to cancer but an inadequate reference. Hits close enough to the point to be considered relevent and intelligent.
