Artist No. 4: Iron & Wine

The Deal: This eight-piece band, with Leroy Bach of Wilco and the Sea and Cake's Chad Taylor, produces songs with percussion inspired by African tribal music. Behind the beard, frontman Sam Beam is an able singer, songwriter and, on occasion, video director.
