Raconteurs Rain Down on Bonnaroo

The Raconteurs got the main stage rocking out during the afternoon of Bonnaroo on Day Two, opening with a blistering version of 'Consolers of the Lonely,' and shortly thereafter played a rousing 'Old Enough' that had the crowd -- young and old -- on their feet in the Tennessee heat. While they're far from the stereotypical Bonnaroo band, in some ways, the Raconteurs represent the local heroes done good. Jack White introduced the band, adding "We're from Nashville." Of course, they're not the typical Nashville band, either. If they fall into any category, let it be classic "badass rock 'n' roll."During their 90-minute set, the band brought some heat of their own with two albums-worth of solid material to showcase. "Do you want it to rain or not?" asked White, taking both the temperature and storm clouds into consideration. When the crowd voiced a nearly unanimous "no," White said, "Well, let's hope you get what you want," before launching into the band's biggest hit, 'Steady as She Goes.'
