    Potent Quotables: Usher Explains Lesbianism

"Women have started to become lovers of each other as a result of not having enough men."--Usher

You can almost hear the cringes and eye-rolls, can't you? And during Gay Pride Month! Nice work, dude.

...Usher continued, "I'm clearly irresistable. Cloning me would bring an end to lesbianism."

    What a ****.

SO, in Usher's definition the reason men are gay is because women aren't women enough?

I get what he means, but that just isn't it. You can be a smooth gentlemen, and still never kick it with a lesbian. Trust that.

I think Usher is partially right. Men act like little girls nowadays. Too much sensitivity and not enough "I don't give a f*#k" going around.

I certainly don't want a man who doesn't give a f*ck. I don't want a cry-baby either, but the super-macho attitude is just as annoying as the oversensitive attitude.

Usher is just trying to get a point across too. It's not men's faults. It's society's. Go here to get the skills your dad never taught you.

Why should this, or any other style of relationship
be so important to me, that I ought have an opinion?

"Something different", in almost any category will offend someone who's "rooted" in his own life experience.

Why is the this or any other version of a lifestyle have such importance to me, that I should feel I have the right to express an opinion?

Most of what's new, in any era, has brought out strong opinions as to why it is good.. or bad..anything different is always going to offend half the population.

In some countries, an exodus from the accepted lifestyle would be an "off with the head" result. In America, it's another "ho-hum"

Why is that we are so offended at the truth? The male species in the USA need to grow up; which means stop thinking and acting likes boys. PERIOD!!!

Is there any good reason why I ought have an opinion about someone else's lifestyle?

Anything "different" from what our own individual experience has been, is usually looked upon with a frown.

In some countries an exodus from the accepted life style might mean you'd have an "off-with-the-head" experience. ~In America, your predilictions are subject to how open minded society is with regard to"something" seeming "odd" to some folks.

The suggestion that, as with all things.."this too shall pass" might be remembered when judging.

A choice ?? Yeah we choose to have idiots like Usher think he could change us if all men were like him. And we choose to be codemned for the way we feel. Hmmm... just the way I choose to live my life, it's not a choice people... get your heads out of ... wherever they are & maybe get to know one of us.

Ha...I like Usher as an entertainer and while there are a lot of smart entertainers, that statement assures me that he isn't of the normally deep thinking variety. Case in point...my older sister (gay) doesn't visit much. When my daughter was about three, after one of my sister's rare visits, my daughter asked me..."Mommy, is that Aunt Rani or Uncle Rani?" I'm sure Usher is not nearly able to explain to anyone that some women and men just go their own way, not the way people try to tell them is the way to go.

Anybody who thinks that Usher is right is completely clueless. This shows how entirely ignorant this man is about women and about sexual orientation. The idea that women turn lesbian or bi because there aren't enough d***s is stupid and childish. He needs to educate himself so he doesn't sound like such a doofus in public.
