On This Date in 1950: Heart lead singer Ann Wilson is born in San Diego.

The Almanac Advises for June 19: "Cardiomegaly is not a disease in itself, but instead is a sign of an underlying problem. Causes of an enlarged heart can range from high blood pressure to anemia to a thyroid disorder to heart muscle or valve abnormalities."
