Amy Winehouse Diagnosed With Emphysema + More

- Amy Winehouse has been diagnosed with emphysema, according to her father. The lung disease is in its early stage, and according to her father, doctors have warned the singer that she will have to wear an oxygen mask unless she stops smoking drugs.
- Brian Wilson has been added to the Newport Folk Festival lineup. The event takes place August 1-3 in Newport, Rhode Island, with Wilson's headlining performance falling on Aug. 1.
- Bruce Springsteen and the E street band added seven dates to their North American summer tour, beginning with a run in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on July 27-28, and 31. The jaunt is now scheduled to wrap on August 30 in Milwaukee.
- Conor Oberst revealed the cover art for his forthcoming self-titled solo album. The effort hits shelves on August 5.
