- Bjork has canceled her headlining July 5 concert at England's Wild in the Country Festival, calling the event "volatile" and questioning the organizer's ability provide her stage requirements.
- Paul Van Dyk will play New York City's Pier 54 on August 16, for what's being dubbed as "a waterwide dance music extravaganza." Van Dyke's annual NYC concert was previously held in Central Park.
- Paul Weller will kick off a U.S. tour in support of his latest album, '22 Dreams,' on September 2 with a two-night stand in L.A. The jaunt is set to wrap on September 16 in Chicago.
- The Kinks' Ray Davies will embark on a brief solo North American tour, beginning July 11 in Ontario. The acoustic trek wraps on July 22 in Anaheim, California.
