On This Date in 1954: Elvis Presley records several songs, including 'That's All Right,' for his first official session for Sun Records.

The Almanac Advises for July 5: "When interviewing for a job, the best ways to make a good first impression are to smile and make eye contact. Also, make sure that you dress appropriately. Most important, communicate your message clearly and in a confident voice."
