On This Date in 1947: Village People singer and performer David Hodo is born in San Andreas, Calif.The Almanac Advises for July 7: "Construction work is considered one of the most dangerous professions. Among the many hazards encountered by a construction worker on the job are faulty tools, improperly maintained equipment and toxic fluids."
