Smashing Pumpkins Planning 'Unique' Tour + More

- As previously reported, the Smashing Pumpkins will embark on their first 2008 tour dates this August in smaller-sized venues, which will consist of "unique sets and songs." Meanwhile, a larger tour celebrating the Pumpkins' 20th anniversary will be held in November, with dates in New York, Chicago, L.A. and more cities yet to be announced.
- Shudder to Think will launch a brief reunion tour this fall, beginning with an appearance at Baltimore's Virgin Mobile Festival on August 10.
- TV on the Radio will kick off a North American tour, beginning September 5 in Portland. The jaunt is set to wrap on September 20 in San Francisco.
- The National have designed a t-shirt in support of presidential candidate Barack Obama.
