Matthew Murphy singer and guitarist with the Wombats performs at the Isle of Wight Festival at Newport, on June 13 2008 in the Isle of Wight, England. The festival, attended by 50,000 music fans, which features headline acts The Kaiser Chiefs, Sex Pistols and The Police, is in its seventh year after being reincarnated in 2002. The promoters claim their aim is to recreate the hippy spirit of the famous festivals held on the island in the late 1960s, when thousands of music fans watched acts such as Jimi Hendrix, the Doors and Bob Dylan. Ben Harper always steals the show. He played Voodoo Last year and went on before The Smashing Pumkpins and he blew them away. There is actually a great video from the 2007 and his 2000 performance on the Voodoo Experience tenth anniversary site. http://www.blogtoplist.com/rss/the-black-crowes.html
