Brangelina Tap Bono to Be Twins' Godfather?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reportedly gave Bono an offer he couldn't refuse: to serve as Godfather to the couple's newborn twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, born two weeks ago, according to the Mirror.

"They have been friends for years," a friend of Pitt and Jolie said recently. "Brad is a massive U2 fan and told Bono how much he admired him when they were introduced at a party a few years back. Since then, they've become very close, which Brad is thrilled about."

Bono has let the family stay in his south of France house for the past week, and it seems that they have been thankful enough to make him a permanent part of their lives.

Now gearing up for the fall release of U2's 12th studio album, Bono is already a godfather to the Edge's daughter, Hollie, 24. The band also re-released remastered, deluxe editions of their first three records, 'Boy,' 'October' and 'War' this month.
