Potent Quotables: Slayer Too Old to Rock?

"Seeing a 50-year-old man headbanging onstage would make me cringe." --Tom Araya

While Slayer's bassist didn't confirm rumors of the band breaking up, the 47-year-old certainly hinted at the likelihood that you'll see him thrashing live for much longer.

First of all, I'd like to say that I am a devoted fan of Slayer. They have been around since 1982, and still sound f**ken Good. They have not even hinted at quitting, so you should get the facts straight. Oh, and Tom Araya is not old, he is hot!!!!I've seen older bands like rolling stones with canes and still on stage. "F**ken Slayer Rocks".

Too old and ugly? If you think that way, then you must be too dumb and stupid to listen to them.
