On This Date in 1966: 'Wild Thing,' by the Troggs, reaches the No. 1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.The Almanac Advises for July 30: "A feral child is a child who has grown up isolated from humans, sometimes in the wild and legendarily raised by other species. Feral children are marked by their lack of ability to socialize with other people."
