You are right on about Billy Ray Cyrus and his daughter, Miley! He is the most untalented country singer to come out of Nashville and he is riding her wave of popularity to get noticed again.
Shame on NBC for pandering to him with the Nashville Star TV show...it is about as tasteless as Cyrus.

wth? do you even realize how popular he was when he was making music? He was amazing and had a pretty sizable fan base. And in fact, the only reason he stopped making music was because he became a father. He was famous in his own right before Miley was even a twinkle, and probably one of the main reasons she was considered for the role of Hannah Montana was because of her famous father.

I hated that song. I remember he played my senior trip at Six Flags over Texas along with the Cover Girls and Information Society (I mainly went to see InSoc). After they were finished, I didn't stick around to see Gerardo.

Gerardo, is, was, and will always be the only rapper I like and definately the hottest I ever saw. "Rico Suave"
means delicious and smooth and is about latino mucho men and the idea that people have of what latin men are like. It was meant to be humorous, not a serious song.
It is truely a memorable song and I was in my car going home from work one night when I first heard it. I can't remember any other moment that I first heard a song, so you see it left a lasting impression. Great job Gerardo, you left something very significant behind in music and many of us DID enjoy it, so don't worry about it being the worst, cause it's just one lame guys opinion, that being the idiot who picked many of these top 20 HITS!!!!!!!

This was a very memorable song that coined a catch phrase "Rico Suave", and could be considered the highest of compliments if anyone thought you were hot enough to be called that. It means delicious & smooth and let's face it, most guys these days are NOT. Gerardo I think it's time for a come back. I didn't care a thing about rap until you showed up on the music scene and actually made it interesting and fun. It pays to be unique, people sit up and take notice and you know ALL the ladies noticed you. Very caliente (hot) and
we could use some of that today. With all the people today using drugs and sleeping with anybody and coming up with UGLY muts, looks have truely deminished.
