Top 20 Worst Songs Ever: No. 8

'Ebony and Ivory'
--Paul McCartney & Stevie Wonder (1982)

This infamous duet offers proof that combining two great musicians with a positive message does not necessarily guarantee a great song. The cheesy easy-listening tune made its way to the top of the charts, but once the initial success died down, Stevie and Macca fans alike had to repress its memory deep into their collective subconscious.

This song made for one of the funniest sketches on SNL, when Joe Piscopo, as Frank Sinatra, tries to get Eddie Murphy, as Stevie Wonder, to sing a duet that Frank's fans would understand called, "You are Black. I am White."

What mindless people came up with this list? I know just because it is a hit doesn't make it a good song, but a few of these are good songs that were also hits.

I dissagree with this one, I gotta say that any song with Paul Mccartney's voice on it is good. Whoever came up with this list needs a life because if they're putting down all the great songs out there, then what do they listen to?

This is a highly annoying song and so stretching to be politically correct. Sir Paul should have certainly done better!

Aw, I like this song, and the hilarious SNL skit that followed it. :)
Seriously, I don't know what you guys at Spinner have against Macca. You have bad taste, in my opinion.

ALL of the songs on this list were huge Top 10 (if not #1) HITS when they came out!!!

These songs listed as WORST SONGS EVER does NOT make sense!

What about the songs that WEREN'T Top 10 hits???

Oh thats right, you wouldn't be able to write about them.
You'd have to think of a good article or something.
