Amy Winehouse Plans to Release Rejected Bond Song

Amy Winehouse doesn't take no for an answer. When producers of the upcoming James Bond flick 'Quantum Of Solace' passed over her theme song last month in favor of the Jack White/Alicia Keys collaboration 'Another Way to Die,' the embattled singer decided to go it alone and release her unwanted song after all.

Winehouse reportedly intends to "prove that [film executives] made a "big mistake" by dismissing her then-unfinished Bond theme contender. She's even thinking of releasing the Mark Ronson-produced tune the same week as the new White/Keys single. "I guess they are going for clean-cut and boring," Winehouse reportedly told Britain's New Magazine. "When I do release mine -- and I am tempted to do it on the same day -- this would be the bigger hit."

"I do think they could have waited a bit," a confident Winehouse said, pointing to her head. "If they want a worldwide hit, I have them all up here."

Hi Jill!at 8-13-2008

She is absolute Trash. And for them to give her grammy's this year was just a slap in the face to all the talent out there that actually deserved it. I hit the rewind on my sirius everytime she comes on the radio, so I can fast forward her.

Will someone please explain to me why this skank is still walking around in public? And, exactly, where her talent lies? She is frigging Nasty.

I love Amy Winehouse. Yes, of course she has her problems but if you listen to her music, you could tell she really is completely underrated. She is a genius and before we judge anyone else, we need to take a look inside of ourselves and stop judging!

Amy your rock. You are a talent not long for this earth. So many losers here who only focus on your looks and your troubles. Lest they forget the problems that Lady Day had in her time... and when you have gone, your music will live on. I suspect your version of the Bond song will knock us out as your last CD.. which to you detractors..won 6 ( SIX) Grammy Awards including Album of the Year.

Not liking HER is one thing. Saying her music sucks is another. Hahahhahaha!!! Sounds like the musical geniuses on this comment page are Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson fans. Nice taste in music... LOL

To Hi Jill- and others who think she isn't an artist beause of her drug addictions- are you too quick to forget The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, The Doors...etc... Johnny Cash...etc.. they all had their drug problems except the paparazzi wasn't around in their face every 3 seconds back then. I mean there are COUNTLESS artists and musicians who had drug addictions but were still great artists. She does need to clean up her act- I don't care if she does it in private, but with the paps out nowadays you gotta put on a good face while out in public and that's costing her work. She'll realize it eventually- hell Britney finally has.

Call her all the names you want for her "lifestyle". People don't WANT to be addicts... it happens and it is a b**ch to kick...try being loving and kind for a change.Substance abuse is a serious health crises and should be treated with compassion and concern. Not judgemental name-calling like 7 year olds! And she is hardly underrated. She has all those Grammy's to prove she has the talent and gets recognized for it. Better her than Milli Vanilli...remember? Atleast Amy REALLY sings. Or maybe you are all Ashley Simpson fans...Jack White rocks..Alicia keys? eh?
