On This Date in 1959: Danny Bonaduce, who portrayed adolescent musician Danny Partridge in the TV series 'The Partridge Family,' is born.

The Almanac Advises for August 13: "Try involving your family in a regular activity that everyone can participate in. Such pastimes can serve to strengthen the familial bond as well as impart the social, cultural and moral values you wish your children to have."
