Rapper Feeding Hometown's Obesity Problem

Kanye West, who's always presented himself as a paragon of good taste, is taking a shot at seeing how the other half lives -- by swapping his customary Cristal for a Big Fat Root Beer Float. The hip-hop icon is doing his part to give something -- namely an 820-calorie sandwich -- back to the community by helping open 11 Fatburger restaurants in Los Angeles and his hometown of Chicago, the latter of which, ironically, was recently named one of America's most obese cities.

We're guessing that the ever-svelte West hasn't risked stretching out any of his pricey sweaters by taking the challenge posed on the chain's website, that being "try our Triple Kingburger" -- which consists of over a pound of meat smothered in fixins. Now that's what we call a New Workout Plan.
