On This Date in 1989: The B-52's release the single 'Love Shack,' from their third album, 'Cosmic Thing.'The Almanac Advises for August 18: "In some states, prisoners are allowed the privilege of conjugal visits, in which the convict is permitted to spend a limited amount of time alone with a legal spouse. The space supplied by the penitentiary is usually a trailer or a cabin, which is furnished with a bed and other amenities."
