McCain Condemns Madonna's Visual Attack

Wait, you mean Madonna isn't throwing her weight behind the Republicans during the upcoming presidential election? And she's making outrageous statements like running Republican presidential nominee John McCain's picture alongside images of destruction, global warming and Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler in a video interlude during her 'Sticky and Sweet' tour? That sounds nothing like the Madonna we know. Oh, wait. Yes, yes it does.

Well, McCain isn't gonna take it. The U.S. Senator hit back at Madonna Sunday in response to the pop diva's visual swipe at the candidate during the opening night of her international 'Sticky and Sweet' tour, this past Saturday in Cardiff, Wales.

"The comparisons are outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time," McCain campaign spokesman Tucker Bounds said in a statement reported by Fox News. "It clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off limits."

Madonna's Obama "support" came in the form of another video montage, where the Democratic nominee was featured in the same sequence as slain Beatle John Lennon, climate activist Al Gore and Mahatma Gandhi.

I agree that Madonna is not a peson that anyone with half a brain would actually listen to. I also think it is going WAY too far to compare a POW with a MONSTER like Adolf Hitler! I also KNOW in my heart that when all the "sheople" that vote for Obama see their canditate win, they will regret it dearly! America is going down the tubes. Learn to swim you dumbfounded dips***s!

Good Lord.
Didn't Madonna go to high school at all? Didn't she take history in school? Didn't she ever learn any of the vile things Adolf Hitler did?
I don't care if you support McCain or Obama, no U.S. presidential candidate should ever be compared to Hitler. If this weren't a free country I would say Madonna should be beaten for that. And besides, it would take someone with an IQ below 75 to actually take political advice from any Hollywood marketer, let alone Madonna, who over the years has proved that she knows absolutely nothing about politics, global issuses, and really anything else she talks about. She doesn't even know anything about music--she only became successful by marketing her body. C'mon, America, isn't this the "artist" who thinks that Africa's #1 problem right now is witchcraft?
Use your head.

McCain's minions take any opportunity to blame Obama for anything, anytime anybody expresses their views. I really doubt Madonna's material is "for" the support of the Obama campaign. It's simply her own personal view of the world as it is today. She is entitled to have that view right?

When you compare John McCain to Hitler you show an astounding amount of ignorance and contempt for truth. McCain is a war hero who was tortured in a Vietnamese POW camp for his country. Adolf Hitler was a radical racist who ordered the industrialized slaughter of Jews, gypsies, the elderly, the mentally challenged, homosexuals, and those who openly opposed his movement, just to name a few. When you compare the two, you candy-coat the horrific atrocities committed by Hitler and the 3rd Reich. I find that incredibly offensive. May another Adolf Hitler NEVER walk the earth again.

and stop being elephants and donkeys and just be US CITIZENS, lokk at all the true facts about all candidates and make an intelligent decision based on that. well maybe someday ,apparently not in 2008. I hope "GET THE FACTS" OR "FACTS ACT " OR SOME OTHER MONIKER WILL BE OUR FUTURE.

ok...ok... has it ever occured to you that McCain may have been around and experienced alot of terrible thing....however Obama may have the courage to run for president because he is so intelligent that he would make better decisions for our country, consider that age really makes less difference. there are plenty of younger and older politicians that make horrrible errors in judgements and those who make excellent decisions. Is there a chance that we HUMANS could stop the liberal/conservative/democrat/republican/right/left/red/blue
