Potent Quotables: Steady Guitarist Rips Radiohead

"They've lost the plot. I don't get it anymore. What they're doing now I don't think is very good." --Tad Kubler
The Hold Steady guitarist wasn't bashful about his distaste for Radiohead's 'In Rainbows' approach, but had nothing but glowing reviews for Oasis, who he called "earnest" and "honest."- Filed under: Potent Quotables

Seriously, In Rainbows is an amazing album and while it's not like Raidiohead's other albums, neither are any of their other albums. Kid A is nothing like OK Computer which is nothing like Pablo Honey. And what "plot" is he talking about? Of course he'll give that self centered egotistical Noel Gallagher rave reviews.

August 28 2008 at 9:34 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI guess this band is more a fan of straight virgin rock n' roll with no ice. That's the only explanation I can dig out.
